The 7.5 acre site is located on the New Jersey Turnpike at exit 8, East Windsor, Hightstown and Route 33 interchange. The property is divided into three lots and received preliminary approval for a 105 unit hotel and 6,400 square foot restaurant in 1985. The site was never developed due to a New Jersey sewer moratorium in 1986 and the approvals were extended in 1997 but lapsed after one year. In 1999 the adjacent 0.5 acre lot was purchased from the town of East Windsor and the building on the site was demolished and removed.

The 40-acre lot across the street recently received approvals for a 260,000 square foot industrial building.
