Roedel Companies was formed in 2000 as the successor to Chalet Susse International Inc., which developed, constructed, owned, operated and franchised a chain of Susse Chalet and Grand Chalet hotels throughout the Eastern United States from 1968 to 2000. Chalet Susse was one of the largest privately owned limited-service hotel chains in the industry with over 45 hotels from the Eastern and Midwestern United States.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Roedel Companies, ROK Builders is a hotel construction management company specializing in new hotel design, construction and renovations, primarily in the limited-service, mid-service, upscale and extended-stay market segments in the Eastern United States.
With over 40-years of combined experience designing, building and renovating hotels, ROK’s senior management has built over 65 hotels from the ground up and completed over 300 renovations.
